Tenzing Norgay Sherpa

So, how are you guys? Today we are going to talk about the first person on Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak Of Tenzing Norgay. Tenzing Norgay sherpa flies the flag of Nepal. He was the first man in the whole world Who waved their country’s flag on Mount Everest. Tenzing Norgay achieved this position in 1953. The name of Nepal was illuminated in the whole world. World-famous time magazine had included his name in the 100 most influencing people of the 20th century.

Tenzing Norgay was born in Nepal. They do not know their exact date of birth But he knew that he was born in the last days of May. His parents also did not remember Tenzing’s birthday. Because they did not take the Birth Certificate of Tenzing And his parents have 13 children. Now friend! Remember how many birthdays? Eleven of those 13 children passed away in their childhood. When Tenzing Norgay, step in the peak of Mount Everest on 29th May 1953 Since then, he started celebrating his birthday on 29th May. Tenzing’s parents soon after marriage Came to Nepal from Tibet.

Here his father used to work as a shepherd. The real name of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa was Namgyal Wangdi. He did not give attention while studying. His father was very upset about this and He told this to a Priest. So that Priest changed the child Namgyal Wangdi to Tenzing Norgay and Dad did exactly that. But no matter how crow Can not become white. In the same way Namgyal Wangdi’s name By keeping Tenzing Norgay He can’t be clever. Tenzing did not like his new name and He ran away from home twice. Father meets priest again And tells me your point So the priest made Tenzing be a monk at Tengboche Monastery, he advised. Dad accepted the advice And sent Tenzing to be a monk But here too he did not pay attention and he returned home.

He knows Daddy’s state of mind, then he goes to Darjeeling. Tenzing started Sherpa’s work in Darjeeling. Those with climbers Carrying their luggage on their back. he works with them, they are called Sherpa. In 1935, Tenzing got a chance to climb Mount Everest for the first time. But he could not reach Mount Everest in this climb. Canadian mountaineer earl Denman in 1947 Wanted to go to Mount Everest They took Tenzing with them But they didn’t have permission Still both of them broke into Illegalli via Tibet. Earl Denman had a slight experience of mountaineering. But he had great enthusiasm. He reached as high as 22200 feet But because of the sudden strong storm there, They gave up and returned. Once more they failed As often as they failed As many times as they wish to go to Mount Everest, there was a desire.

Mount Everest Expedition

In 1952 Swiss Mount Everest Expedition ‘ Tenzing was taken as a Sherpa. They were determined to No matter if they have to go alone. But they think this time they will climb Mount Everest. They reached easily to a height of 28200 feet. Mount Everest has a height of 2992 feet That is, now Was 900 feet away from his destination. They thought that this time they will definitely reach. But here too the weather got worse and because of this, all the people wanted to go down. Tenzing Norgay Sherpa wanted to move forward despite bad weather. He also asked permission for this by caption But Captain did not give him permission. They had to return with great disappointment.

In 1953 under the leadership of Colonel Hunt, A British group was preparing to go to Mount Everest. Colonel Hunt asks Tenzing Norgay to come along with them. Tenzing placed a bet in front of the colonel, If he wants to move forward, no one will stop him. Colonel accepts Tenzing’s condition And this mission started from Kathmandu on 5 March Till 25th May. i.e. 110 days later they reached a height of 24280 feet. Colonel Hunt and the rest were tired now. For 3 months every day, every morning, got up and climb the mountain Second-day the same work again. In 110 days, someone gets tired.

They all wanted to go down now. When Colonel Hunt ordered Tenzing down, Then Tenzing recalled his condition and bet. Edmund Hilary also wanted to move forward with Tenzing. Colonel Hunt did not stop both And he went down with the rest of the people. Now Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary begin to proceed forward. Once Edmund Hillary was about to fall into the crevice of the mountain Then Tenzing rescued him. Edmund Hillary also felt that he was with the right man.

Finally Tenzing Norgay & Edmund Hillary In The Peak Of The Mt. Everest

On 29th May at 4 am in the morning, they were preparing to move forward. Then they noticed that oxygen is very low. Tenzing then gave Hilari the courage to say. He said “No problem We will use half a cylinder instead of one cylinder” Then they started moving. When proceeding a little, Tenzing got two cylinders in the ice. They took both cylinders and thanked God. Now there was another high hill ahead and another trench. they were not able to understand what else to go. That’s when they saw a cave. Out of that, a man could lie down smilingly Tenzing and Hilari two bribed into that cave. Injury to many parts of the body also. For two hours, they continued in the cave. Later they saw sunlight showed up on another side And they came out from there.

When he came out, he did not have any more happiness. Because Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, was just a few feet away from them. Tenzing and Hilari both climbed quickly. their face got rid of all the tiredness And at 1 pm, Tenzing Norgay Sherpa waved the flag of Nepal. And Hillary waved the flag of England. They took many pictures of this happy occasion. On the second day, news of their victory spread all over the world. Tenzing proved that nothing is impossible if a person is determined to be at heart.
